The Bible—God’s Word

Trinity
In the triune nature of God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:26, 1John 5: 5&7
Salvation
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ by His shed blood for all men.
Salvation is a gift from God and obtained by grace not works. Titus 2:11, Hebrew 5:9, Romans 10:9-10
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation. Romans 3:23, Hebrews 5:9
The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. 1Corinthian 1:2, 1 Peter 2:5, Acts 2:42-47
The Holy Spirit
That the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation, and that it is the will of God that all be filled. Acts 1:4&5, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 8:15-17, Acts 19:3
The Holy Spirit as the one who comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and transforms us into Christ likeness.
Water Baptism
We believe in Water Baptism by immersion. Mark 1:4&5, Col 2:11&12, 1Peter 3:21
Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 22:12-14
There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and unjust. 1Corinthians 15:42, 1Corinthians 15:50-52, Revelation 20:4-6
We believe
The Observance of the Lord’s Supper. Luke 22:20, 1Corinthians 11:23-26
The Apostolic Calling of Ministers – Ephesians 4:11-13
And that healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer. Isaiah 53:5, Luke 9:11
